#Project64, street art exhibition has recently opened at VDNKh. Until April 17, the creative association Artmossfera will present works of foreign and Russian street artists in «Optika», Pavilion No. 64.
#Project64 is an exposition of First Moscow Street Art Biennale participating works. Visitors will see canvases, installations and sculptures of biennale’s participants as well as works by Moscow artist Pasha 183, media installation by Stain Studio, and archival photos of sculptures by the classic of kinetic art Vyacheslav Koleychuk and first art graffiti action in Moscow – Painting A Wall, which took place in 1992. On weekends, there will pass thematic lectures, master classes and film screenings in historical pavilion.
Charitable auction will become the key event of the project. It will take place on April 15 with assistance of RuArts Fund. This day collectors will be able to purchase works of last year’s biennale participants. The received profits will go for establishment of a grant for artists.
The first Moscow Street Art Biennale that went over with success in September, 2014 under the auspices of the creative association Artmossfera, showed relevance of this direction of art both for the city, and for gallery space. Last year the Artmossfera united more than 50 artists from around the world and was held throughout the city.
The exhibition #Project64 is open for visitors of VDNKh in pavilion No. 64 daily until April 17 from 11:00 to 22:00. One adult ticket costs 250 rubles
(€2.53); one for children of 7-12 years, members of large families, disabled people and pensioners — 100 rubles (€1.01); for children under 3 years entrance is free.
