Stay Hungry yard parties continue to discover non-obvious locations. Indian summer party will take place at the abandoned territory of «Crystal» distillery on Samokatnaya Street. Food will be presented by popular gastronomic projects, and this time burgers, pancakes, steamed buns and arancini will be accompanied by kebabs, khinkali, rice and other nostalgic dishes.
Among non-gastronomic entertainments, there will be a yard kicker championship, where real players will exchange the ball instead of miniature figures. The play will be held during the whole evening, to take part in it, you need to register.
Stay Hungry team keeps trying to connect lonely hearts. In July, couples could have mock weddings. This time there will be quick dating, organized with the help of Pure –an acquaintance app. You also need to register to participate.
Another innovation of the September party is a karaoke zone. In addition to karaoke hookahs and many surprises are promised.
EXHIBITION OF RUSSIAN DESIGN «PREDMET»
The exhibition shows modern Russian design in historic interiors of the House-Museum of Yermolova on Tverskoy Boulevard. Luxurious rooms gather several dozen works by young and already well-known designers and companies (including Archpole, Estrorama, Woodi and studio Denis Milovanova) – everything that identifies a picture of modern design today. The exposition presents unusual lamps, strange furniture, futuristic kitchen utensils and other household items. The exhibition is accompanied by lectures of experts from the world of design.
The Exhibition of Russian design «PREDMET» will last until September 21 in the House-Museum of Yermolova on Tverskoy Boulevard 11.
Last year, Moscow International Peace Marathon, held since 1981, updated the name, route, and gained corporate identity. As a result, 2,366 people ran the distance of 42 kilometers (and almost the same quantity overcame the alternative distance of ten kilometers). Online registration for the race is already closed, but the organizers have promised additional one – on September 20 in «Luzhniki-Expo».
Thousands of runners from Russia and other countries will get together on September 21 to run 42 km and 195 m, to take part in the Moscow Marathon that has become a part of the international running movement.
Russia’s only international fair for contemporary art, Cosmoscow, will bring together the country’s contemporary art scene and the international art community. It will present new names, previously unseen on the Russian art market, as well as famous artists from all over the world.
Cosmoscow will host 26 invited international galleries from New York, London and Continental Europe alongside galleries from Russia and the CIS.
A program of non-commercial projects will include a new work by Azeri artist, made especially for the exhibition, an exclusive look into private Russian collections in the exhibition «Collector’s Eye», a new program for art development by the V-A-C Foundation and Museum of Contemporary Art Antwerp, and children’s program by the Garage Center for Contemporary Art.
Cosmoscow is held in Central Manege (Manezhnaya Sq. 1) from September 19 to 21.
