“From Dream to Reality” – this is the slogan of the Moscow Marathon 2014. In 2013, 2366 participants ran unique route of the Moscow Marathon for the first time. As a result, a new record was set by the number of runners who finished the marathon.
Race distance is 42 km 195 m. The route passes through the central streets of Moscow, main embankments and boulevards of the city: by the Stalin skyscrapers and the Moscow City, the Garden Ring and the Tsvetnoy Boulevard, through the Krimsky Bridge and Kitaigorodsky passage, through Tverskaya Street and along the Kremlin walls.
The age of the marathon participants starts from 18 years. Participation in the Moscow 10 km Marathon is allowed from 16 years. The participants of the races will need a medical certificate and identity card.
You can register to participate until August 8. To register, fill in the form on the marathon’s website, make the entry fee and receive confirmation of registration. The fee is 1300 rubles (€27).
The Moscow Marathon 2014 will start on September 21 at the «Luzhniki» Sporting Complex.
