The first jazz festival on the roof is not about elitist jazz, but about experimental music.The festival is held on in of the most picturesque places of the summer – the roof of Artplay. Canadian trio Badbadnotgood will be the headliners. The team that became famous with the covers of the original Gucci Mayne, James Blake and My Bloody Valentine songs, released their third album, with their own songs. On the same stage with them there will be 1/2 Orchestra with Kotzi Brown, a one-man band Galun with his live band Amur Tiger Arkestra.
Another great news is that you will able to see the performance by FarFor – a partnership of underground street-dance dancers promoting the ideology of dance improvisation as a self-contained area of modern culture.
Festival guests will not go hungry. Next to the small stage, there will be a food court with a large selection of food and beverages.
Jazz Rooftop festival will be held at the Artplay roof (Nignyaya Syromiatnicheskaya St., 10) on July 23 in 19:00.
