KIDS TIME FESTIVAL
Kids Time Festival
The Red October will hold a Kids Time festival on the weekend. Within this two days, children and their parents will have a set of very interesting occupations.
It will be possible to buy clothes, soft toys, board games, colorful children’s books, modern materials for creativity, baby food and goods for newborn care. More than 40 sellers of exclusive things take part in the kid’s market.
Professional psychologists will read lectures about education of children and answer topical issues to help parents to understand their kids. There will also pass creative master classes and cheerful games with animators.
FLEA MEETING
Flea Market
Organizers of the Flea Meeting invite everyone keen on history, ancient traditions and improbable facts of our ancestors to «January Poboltushka» on January 17, in the Vinyl Art Center (Obraztsova St., 14). There are in the program: vintage prize to the lottery’s winner, unique ancient bagatelles and stories about them, the most elected collectors of Moscow, and habitual and cozy space area with retro music and fragrant cafe.
Flea Meeting is the unique project, which gathered under one roof collectors and people from different spheres of life and interests: bibliopoles, numismatists, filokartist, collectors of Domestic and West European art, true experts on vintage costume jewelry, clothes and various ladies’ accessories, collectors of clocks and toys, and true judges of ancient interior and furniture.
EPIPHANY BATHINGS
Epiphany
Epiphany is one of the main Christian holidays. In orthodox tradition, it comes after Christmas-tide, proceeding from January 7 to January 17, in the evening on January 18 when all Orthodox Christians celebrate Epiphany Christmas Eve.
This year Epiphany will be widely celebrated in Moscow. Thus, you can join traditional Epiphany bathing – on Sunday evening almost in every park of Moscow Epiphany ice-holes will be open. It will be possible to plunge into ice water in Kuzminsky Park, the Northern Tushino Museum and Park Complex, in Mitino Landscape Park and Sokolniki Park. Those who does not want to go far will be able to use oak and ice fonts that will be installed in the center of Moscow — on Revolution Square.

New winter program of the International Festival of Short Films and Animation Future Shorts is shown in the Center for Documentary Cinema (Zubovsky Blvrd, 2).
You will be able to see love and paper monsters from Romania,severe documentary from Greece and social drama from Iran, black-and-white Olympic short meter and escape from prison for bad writers and psychedelic videoart. This winter festival presents flights of fancy from animators, video artists and directors who were marked out at film festivals all over the whole world — from Sandens to Cannes.
PROZAVOD EXHIBITION
V.Egorov “Factory” 1960ies
ProZavod (zavod – plant, factory) is a big exhibition project of the Lyumyer Brothers Photography Center (Bolotnaya Square embankment, 3, b. 1) that arose from idea to show the best Soviet production photo, and turned into the real research, which subject is the evolution of a factory’s image.
Prozavod is the industrial story told by means of the photo, collage and cinema. It is some kind of media archeology working in the field of visual images.
The exhibition tells about industrial culture of the XX century in Russia, changing of relation of Russians to a plant— from reverential to contemptuous. Among exhibits are works by Boris Ignatovich, Max Alpert, Alexander Sorin and also Sergey Eisenstein and Dzigi Vertov’s cinema works devoted to the subject.
