The third annual cultural event The Art’s Night will be held in Moscow on November 3. More than 270 cultural institutions, with more than 300 events will participate in the action. Museums, libraries, theaters, cultural centers and concert halls will open after 18:00 and will work until late night.
The concept of The Art’s Night this year is Art Unites. The event should show the interaction between different art genres, present powerful cultural experiences and contribute to the disclosure of the visitors’ creativity.
The Art’s Night will offer workshops, meetings with famous creators, night tours, lectures, exhibitions, performances and much more.
The central part of the event will be night meeting with well-known members of the Russian art community. Public lectures and discussions will be complemented by nightly film screenings, readings, author tours and theatrical interludes.
Thus, musician Oleg Nesterov and poet Vera Polozkova will talk about poetry and movies of the 60s in the Cultural Center ZIL. The Pushkin Museum will hold Night Readings, where famous actor Basil Lanovoi will read verses of the Golden and Silver centuries of Russian poetry.
The artist Andrey Bartenev will guide a night tour at his own exhibition Say: I love You! In the Moscow Museum of Modern Art. And the director of the History of the Gulag Museum, Roman Romanov, will show the new building of the museum.
