Foodiez of Moscow and the Museum of Moscow have launched a new unusual project Foodiez Weekend. This would be the last Foodiez Weekend in a series of festivals combining variety of activities.
The festival will include film screenings, concerts of contemporary musicians and a variety of workshops. There will be a large food court with permanent residents and new gastronomic projects. Visitors will be able to taste dishes by Foodiez Ferma Burger, Crab’n’Caviar, Meet Meat, Don Giulio, Roni Asian Grill, Dalnekatessi, Q-Tab Lab, The Khachapury, Belaya Dacha foodtruck, Just Cook It, Funny Cabany, Ajika, ZinaGoga and others. Residents of Cafe Del Mar Vartan and Shmel will be responsible for music.
Virtual quests, Taro fortune telling, gifts from Mini, retro Pinball game machines, pop-up shop Sever, and other activities await guests of the festival.
Young visitors will enjoy archaeological sandbox, petting zoo and Multicube innovative cinema. Besides, everyone will be able to visit exhibitions in the Museum of Moscow.

Moscow Music Festival will fill the city with the highest quality music and bring together about 150 performances at 15 different venues. In addition to visitors, who will visit all the variety of concerts during these four days, music industry insiders, gathered from different cities and countries, will estimate the artists at the Colisium Music Conference.
The so-called showcase festival will pass in Moscow for the first time. Dozens of different clubs and concert venues will be united within the festival. Visitors will have an opportunity to visit every event throughout the city by buying a single ticket. Among the venues of the Moscow Music Week will be 16 Tons Club, СhinaTownCafe, Mumiy Troll Bar, Tap&BarrelPub, Powerhouse, Smena, EMA, Fassbinder, Backyard, and others.

SPASSKAYA TOWER FESTIVAL

The Eighth International Military Music Festival Spasskaya Tower will take place from September 5 to 13 in Moscow, at the Red Square. The best Russian and foreign military bands, folk groups as well as honorary guard units of the heads of states will take part in the event. At the end of each performance, the joint band of all the participants – around 1,500 musicians – will appear on the Red Square. All the musicians of the Festival will play the final chords to the salvoes of the salute, with the light show on the St. Basil’s Cathedral as the background.
This weekend guests of the Red Square will be able to see Festival of children’s and youth brass bands, Performance by joint team of the Cavalry Escort of the Presidential Regiment and the Kremlin Equestrian School, The Drums Flash Mob and many more. The Festival’s Closing Ceremony will be held on September 13, at 20:00.

This year, the Fifth Festival of New Czech Cinema presents four films. Wisdom Teeth by Jiri Strach is a political comedy about an official who is suffering from toothache, relationships in his workplace, as well as the consequences of drunk signed document of his political oppositionists. Red is a crime comedy about the investigation and complicated family relationships. We-2 is a touching romance about housewife that escaped from her boring life, and the Photographer by Irena Pavlickova is a biographical film about a famous Czech brawler — photographer Jan Saudek.

“A” PARTY

A new musical event by founders of club Arma 17 and creators of the Outline festival will pass at the Badaevsky Brewing Factory, a monument of industrial architecture, at the banks of the Moskva River.
There will be two dance floors – inside the factory and in its yard. The music format will combine avant-garde electronics from Europe, spectacular visual art and techno. Among the participants are Das Ding, Tobias, Torn Hawk and TMO.
The party will start around midnight and end, as usual, closer to Monday.
