Here is our usual list of places – cafes, restaurants and culture spots – that have recently appeared in Moscow. This time we present you early September openings.
Brewhouse Facebook page
The first pop-up project by independent creative association The Brewhouse has opened in Mytishchi. The association was created by a group of young artists and curators in search of new spaces and solutions for their work.
If traditionally contemporary art finds refuge in the premises of abandoned factories, the Brewhouse has opened at a working brewing plant. In total, there are four floors that host several temporary exhibition projects: street art (there is an exhibit of post-Soviet graffiti artist Enjoy), contemporary cinema (the program was created by the graduates of the Moscow school of new cinema). The second floor has become a sight for an apartment installation Energy Mytishchi, a light installation and an exhibition of Abce architectural group. In general, the Brewery is a venue for exhibiting young and very non-commercial art.
