On September 10, an unprecedented project starts in Moscow. Moscow Music Festival will fill the city with the highest quality music and bring together about 150 performances at 15 different venues. In addition to visitors, who will visit all the variety of concerts during these four days, music industry insiders, gathered from different cities and countries, will estimate the artists at the Colisium Music Conference.
The so-called showcase festival will pass in Moscow for the first time. Dozens of different clubs and concert venues will be united within the festival. Visitors will have an opportunity to visit every event throughout the city by buying a single ticket. Among the venues of the Moscow Music Week will be 16 Tons Club, СhinaTownCafe, Mumiy Troll Bar, Tap&BarrelPub, Powerhouse, Smena, EMA, Fassbinder, Backyard, and others.
The viewers will see different showcases – from Russian and English indie rock and acoustic music to folk, jazz and fusion. Guests from the UK, Estonia, Lithuania, Hungary, Ulraine, Belarus and other countries will present their music to the audience. In addition to well-known artists, the wide lineup of Moscow Music Week will include new names for the Russian stage – this is one of the objectives of the festival.
Besides, in the days of the Moscow Music Week, the Sokolniki Park will host the largest international exhibition of the music industry Colisium Music Conference, which will bring together leaders of the world’s music business. In addition, on September 10-13, everyone will have an opportunity to participate in professional conferences by representatives of the music industry – Colisium Music Business Picnic. Among the proposed topics are organization of music festivals, concerts, copyright, promotion of young artists and many other relevant topics.
