Metropolitan Emergency Ministry warns of possible rains with hail, thunderstorm and wind of 12-17 meters per second in the Moscow region on Thursday, July. Worsening of weather conditions is expected by 23:00.
There is possibility of damaging power lines, partial felling of trees, damaging widescreen advertising structures, leading to traffic congestion, damage to vehicles, felling of poorly fortified structures, reported the press service of the Emergency Department. Rescuers recommend closing the windows and leaving cars in garages or away from trees and weakly fortified structures.
However, rains and thunderstorms will not stay in Moscow for long. By the weekend, it will again become sunny and warm. On Saturday, the air will warm up to 27-29 degrees centigrade. Moderate westerly wind with gusts up to 15 meters per second are also expected. The next day the temperature will slightly decrease to 24-26 degrees.
