DI Telegraph space will hold the second garage sale of Moscow charity shops this Sunday, April 5. Among the participants, there are Charity Shop, Lavka Radostey (Joy Store), Lifestyle, Blagotvoritelniy (charity) boutique.
The program is divertive – there will be held wine tasting, sale of clothing by Dolce & Gabbana, Escada, Versace, Prada and Karen Millen, stylists and makeup artists services, photography salon, raffle and auction.
All the money raised during the Boutique weekend will go to treatment of Oleg Zemtsov – eight-year-old boy, who is suffering from meningoencephalitis for several years, which developed after a medical error.

On the first Saturday of April, the Arts Park Muzeon suggests making grandiose gardening action. Having armed with scissors and secateurs Visitors will be able to put grass and rare willows at Krymskaya Embankment in order. Willow shanks can be taken away home, and then grow up into a fluffy bush.
Before the action, a meeting with a landscape architect Anna Andreyeva will take place. The architect will acquaint listeners with landscaping, various plant varieties of Krymskaya Embankment and with care rules of perennial plants. In addition, Anna will hold a master class in creation of beds in new perennials style. She will tell how to plant wild and half-civilized plants correctly to create an illusion of a natural landscape.
Omma, 21outside, Hus, Gisin, Kotizm and the special guest, whose name has not been revealed yet, will be responsible for musical mood.

IX International Exhibition of Dolls and Teddy Bears «Moscow Fair» opened at Tishinka. It will last until April 5. There you will be able to admire and buy fantastic author’s toys – porcelain dolls, Teddy bears and baby dolls. The fair will become a house for 50 000 toys and dolls, and a large-scale educational space where everyone will be able to study science of creation of dolls and bears. This time the space of the fair will be divided into eight training centers where more than 50 master classes for children and adults will pass.

Russian championship of moustached and bearded people will take place on April 4 in Rhythm&Blues Café. The event will take place in Russia for the third time already. However, long time ago, it was necessary to pay a tax in treasury for having a beard in Russia. Such law appeared because of Peter the Great’s reforms. Bearded men had to pay tax until the empress Ekaterina the Second did not cancel the law. It happened on April 6 and it is considered the Beard Day.
This year competitions will take place in seven categories: Natural beard, Natural moustaches, Stylized moustaches, Beard freestyle and Fake. There will be three prize-winning places in each category. All winners will receive means on beard care as a gift. The main criterion of refereeing will be not the length or volume, but integrity of an image.
Registration of participants will start at the entrance to Rhythm&Blues Cafe from 14.00 until 15.00. The competition will begin at 15.00 and will last approximately until 18.00.
There are no restrictions on age, sex or residence.

ZIL Cultural Center opened a large-scale festival of Hans Christian Andersen, devoted to the writer’s 210 anniversary. The festival is an attempt to comprehend creative heritage of the storyteller and his value for the world literature.
The program of the festival is divided on children’s and adult. Key events of the children’s program are theatrical performances. Thus, on Sunday, it will be possible to visit at once on two children’s plays: «Thumbelina» (at 11.00 and 12.20) and «An alarm in the country of fairy tales» (at 17.00).
The program for adults includes lectures devoted to the heritage of the writer: his unknown texts, places that served as prototypes for the magic landscapes, and the fairy tale «The Girl with Matches» in modern musical theater. The latter one will be held on Saturday in 19.00. Visitors will be able to compare two opposite works: well-known opera of Helmut Lachenman and David Lang’s oratorio.
