First Russian EV charging station appeared in Moscow. It will be working in test mode until the end of 2015. If the experiment is successful, mass production of such devices will be launched.
The EV charging station «Fora» of Mode-3 standard was created at the Ryazan Instrument Plant. According to the press service of Moscow United Electric Grid Company (MOESK), Russian station does not concede to foreign analogs and is capable to load electric cars of any producers.
The charging station is located at Sadovnicheskaya Street, 36, build. 1. All MOESK-EV cardholders can use it.
It is planned that Electro Vehicle charging stations will appear in large shopping centers, residential quarters and business centers. In the upcoming month, about 20 charging stations will start working. Until the end of 2015, about 100 EV charging stations are going to be opened in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
