CHARITY DAY AT THE SKATING RINK
Skating rink at VDNKh
Edition of Afisha Magazine carries out a charity event on a scene of the skating rink at VDNKh on January 31.
Young musicians will be on stage of the skating rink. Last year’s debutants Hut, Neon Tiger duet, new group Esthetix with a solar rokapops in English, Vasily Zorky with his solo project, one of the most noticeable young groups of Moscow – Gayana and the capital dandies Mana Island will perform.
On a separate children’s rink there will pass masquerade skating in which children will be able to participate with their parents. Figure skating master classes are also promised for kids under five years. Communication with children from charity fund «I am! », and performance by the «Ice Age» show participants are in the program.
Tickets will cost 500 rubles. All takings will go to the Fund of Konstantin Khabensky, which helps children with brain diseases, the «Vera» fund that is engaged in support of seriously ill patients of hospices over the country and «I am! » fund, supporting children with special needs.
EXHIBITION «AYVAZOVSKY AND SEASCAPE PAINTERS – LIVE PICTURES»
“Ayvazovsky and Seascape Painters — Live Pictures”
New multimedia platform at the creative space of «Lyumyer-Hall» at Red October presents the unique exhibition «Ayvazovsky and Seascape Painters — Live Pictures».
The project suggests the guests to plunge into epicenter of sea battles. Projective image in Full HD format in combination with 3D animation and volume sound will provide brightness of perception and will not leave anybody indifferent.
In addition, visitors will have an opportunity to draw sea landscapes, imagine themselves a ship’s Capitan, recall childhood, having started a paper ship and make other nice things. Besides, there will be a special children’s zone, master classes and a series of lectures from the best experts in the field of painting.
CCI FABRIKA’S ANNIVERSARY
«Notation» Exhibition
The center of creative industries «Fabrika» celebrates ten’s anniversary. Fabrika, one of the first venues in Moscow created by the principle of art clusters, is a space for an embodiment of pilot, innovative, laboratory projects in the field of the modern art.
This anniversary season opens on January 30 with two new projects — «Notation» and «Jannie’s Portrait», which will show installations, sound art, videoart, objects, sculptures, graphics and paintings. «Notation», a project by Sergey Khachaturov and Asya Filippova, is devoted to a musical notation that is transformation of a sound into an image. 14 artists took part in creation of this project.
An exhibition of famous Italian and Swiss artist Marco Fedele di Catrano «Jenny’s Portrait» opens in the Arthouse Hall. In his Moscow’s project, the artist works with art codes asking quite biblical question: “Who we are, where we are from and where we are going to?” The exhibition consists from video-works and objects.

There will also be presented two series of conceptual works by Ataka Art Group (Anna Godina, Anastasia Geraskina). Ania and Nastya are two young artists from Moscow who united their creativity and already managed to be exposed in Lisbon and work together with some known Moscow cafes and bars.
