OPENING OF SKATING RINGS
The opening of the ice rink at VDNKh
New city skating rink opens on Friday at VDNKh. It is said to become the largest artificial ice rink in Europe. Its total area is nearly 57.3 thousand square meters, and its form reminds the key. The rink runs from the pavilion «Centralniy» to the pavilion «Ukraine». In addition, special shuttle bus will go directly to the ski area from the metro station «Vystavochny Tsentr».
GUM-skating rink opening
A rink opens on the main Moscow square next to the Christmas market. Ice rink can accommodate 450 people and will be open every day from 10 am to midnight. First three sessions from Monday to Friday will be free.

There will be many surprises for guests of the rink. Competitions and gifts, bright flash mob and ice show legendary by Yuri Nikulin Circus: performances of jugglers, acrobats, stunt show, colorful costumes, magical transformations and many more are in the weekend program.
CITY FOOD MARKET
The upcoming market will be the last in November, and the 18th in a row. The organizers decided to celebrate this “age” and devote it to «crafting alcohol. However, visitors will be able to try alcohol at the Market only on Saturday, November 29, and only from 17:00 to 23:00. Guests will be offered a strong apple drink «Yablogon», crafted beer Zagovor Brewery, as well as homemade gin Gin Geany.
The food part of the market will be presented by marshmallows by «! Ay, zefirka», rolls from bulgur by Koupes Bar, French fries by «Good Kartosh», Volga fish by «Kalmyk and Babay», colored pancakes with fillings by The Blin, sandwiches by Prasad, chili soup and burritos by «Daddy Gringo», whole wheat pizza by «Pizza Fit», waffles by «Little Belgium» and soup by «SupBeri».
On Saturday, November 29, the market will run from 12:00 to 23:00, on November 30 – from 12:00 to 21:00. The fair will be held at the Center for Cultural Development and Business «Moscow-Sokol» at Baltiyskaya Street.
HELIPRO CHRONICLES EXHIBITION
Photo exhibition by Maxim Balakhovskiy and Andrew Pirumov, dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the company Helipro will be held from November 27 to December 3 in the small hall of the center ARTPLAY. The exhibition depicts ten years of traveling, skiing and snowboarding at the most remote and extreme mountains of the planet, a kaleidoscope of vivid impressions, helicopter shots and beautiful mountain scenery.
Helipro founder Maxim Balakhovsky and Doskimag chief editor Andrei Pirumov, both world-famous photographers, a lot of traveling side by side, document their skating on camera. Now, sorting through the archives, they share their innermost. The exhibition will present unique photographic material with stunning mountain scenery and world-class riders. Kamchatka, Canada, Chile, New Zealand, India, Pakistan, Greenland – you will see the fascinating mountain scenery and riding through the prism of the camera lens.
ROBOTICS EXPO
II Annual Exhibition of robotics and advanced technology
Robots are the embodiment of supertechnologies that have already become a reality. Meet this reality at Robotics Expo 27-29 on November 2014 in Moscow at ECC «Sokolniki».
Here you will see the latest technologies alive- personal robots, industrial robotics, Consumer Robotics, Augmented & Virtual Reality, wearable technology, 3D printing and a Drone Zone.
During the exhibition, there will be a quadrocopter show and a show of a six-foot dancing robot, contests and interactive areas. Workshops on robotics are prepared for the younger visitors.
The exhibition is located at 5th Luchevoi cutting, «Sokolniki», Pavilion 2.
VIII GASTRONOMIC FESTIVAL «FOOD SHOW»
Gostinniy Dvor (Ilyinka St. 4) will host VIII gastronomic festival «Food Show» from November 28 to 30. «Food Show» is a real gastronomic city, stretched on the area of 12,000 square meters. Here you will find cooking schools, street food, Christmas bazaar, restaurant street, stars square, Christmas ice rink, real, but silent cinema and soundless disco, and even city transport.
Guests can enjoy a delicious, varied and informative program. Here you will be able taste best dishes in numerous restaurants and perfect your culinary skills and learn something new: the best chefs will teach you to cook Christmas treats and share the secrets of their delicious masterpieces during different workshops.
While adults will be watching, and tasting, children can have fun and spend a couple some time with favorite cartoon characters Smeshariki. There will be many different activities for children: children’s cooking school, Christmas ice rink and many more.
