A part of Bolshaya Dmitrovka Street will be closed for vehicles until December 11, due to preparations for the «Journey to Christmas» festival. There will be no traffic from Teatralniy driveway to Kuznetsky Most Street.
Restrictions will be in effect on weekdays from 20.00 until 6 am, and on weekends – around the clock.
Urban festival dedicated to Christmas and New Year will be held in the city from December 12 to January 11, 2015. A journey to tales of the world will be the theme of this year’s event. The festival will take place at 37 sites in all districts of Moscow. Festivities in the central art of the city will start at Voskresenskie Vorota (Resurrection Gate) at the Red Square and will cover all pedestrian areas: Nicolskaya Street, Stoleshnikov Lane, Arbat Street, Kuznetsky Most Street and Clementovsky lane.
