BIRD’S MEADOW FESTIVAL
A forty-hour rave with camping outside the city.
One more outdoor marathon of electronic music awaits us on the weekend. This year, the organizers of the third open-air «Bird’s Meadow» united with the Moscow Bureau Candy’s Bros, which arranges Blow Up parties. This festival refers more to dancing, and not to experiments. Music, therefore, will be entirely domestic – from Easy Changes OL and Alka Rex Duet to Maiden Obey and Celebrine with DJ set. Again – the picturesque nature as a decoration is provided.
The Bird’s Meadow Festival is held in Novoseltsevo village on August 1-3. The entrance price is 1000 rubles (€20).
«DANCE PLATFORM ZIL. MOSCOW – NEW YORK»
Festival of Modern Choreography from the New York performance artist

On August 1 – Jen Rosenblit and Eddies Gonzalez will perform a program «Natural Dance»; they showed it in the legendary New York gallery The Kitchen in May and gained very good reviews from critics.
This is certainly not the classic choreography. Natural Dance is almost absurd show with a subtle but readable story.
The same evening, another New York dancer Arturo Vidic will present his video performance. It shows wrapped in cellophane body of a man, and rats running at the body, moving from one corner of the room to the other. It is a rare chance see the work of modern art and discuss it with its author. A day later, on Saturday, Vidic will perform with dance live. His dances are always dynamic, so it is a great opportunity to see something unbelievable.
The festival will go in ZIL Cultural Center (Vostochnaya St., 4/1) from July 31 to August 5.
