The «Garage» Center for Contemporary art will hold the day of environmental protection in collaboration with the «Recycle» online magazine on August 14 in the Gorky Park. A collection point for recyclable materials: paper, plastic, glass, metal, tetra packs and old batteries will work at the Summer Pavilion of the Museum from 13:00 to 20:00. The collected waste will be sent for recycling to the company «Ecology Sphere ».
Lectures on ecological themes will start at 17.00. There you will be able to learn how to plant a tree through the Internet; where garbage collected in Moscow goes, and answer a philosophical question -“Why do not just crazy people sort the garbage?”.
«Recycle» is an online edition on all ecological themes. In addition to educational activities, the project has taken on practical steps to improve the ecological situation in Moscow. In July, the magazine launched a mobile collection points for recyclable materials that go to all the districts of Moscow. In addition, Recycle is going to release the card with all collection points in Moscow.
