Julia Vysotskaya Restaurant Group, which also owns «Ernik», opened two-story restaurant with a terrace in Apothecary Garden in Grokhol’skiy Lane. Food Embassy reflects Vysotskaya’s gastronomic philosophy that assumes priority of seasonal ingredients, mixing national traditions and international culinary trends.
Daniel Fippard (he also works for «Ernik») is a chef here and Andrew Zastavnyuk (City Space, «Château de Fantomas» and «Belka») is a chief bartender.
Speaking about food, it is necessary to say that it is rather simple, but at the same time interesting and most importantly – delicious. The average price per dish is from 300 to 800 rubles (€5-€18). Some of the dishes on the menu are London restaurant’s hits – e.g., Fish & Chips, fish pie and smoked salmon.
Food Embassy has its own smokehouse in the courtyard that is rare for Moscow restaurants. The smokehouse works every day with different dishes.
The restaurant is situated in a really nice area. The quite terrace can accommodate 80 visitors, more than 120 can stay inside the restaurant.
The Food Embassy’s interior was made by famous Moscow designer Maria Zhukova with thoughts of simplicity and comfort. Natural materials, raw concrete walls, light wood, round tables and scented candles create very cozy and friendly atmosphere for your pastime.
