In studying the future as a territory for materializing today fantasies, the exhibition proposes you to set off in a journey to the horizons of temporarily indefinite states of being and unfinished processes. A collective fantasy of the future, expressed in ten original tales, is brought to life by means of modern technologies in the historic interiors of the Optika Pavilion. These episodes can be seen in any order, creating the main theme from the mosaic of disparate images.
This year, among the exhibits you will see neon political sculptures by Ivan Navarro, capsule laboratory of mental synchronization, in which you can find your ideal psychological state, as well as vintage newsreel on LED screens, portraits of light and sound, and other exciting spectacles.
A wonderful Cityscope also moved to the exhibition area. An urban kaleidoscope by Marco Hemmerling moves to VDNKh — after a month at Krymskaya Embankment. Cityscope facets will reflect the new life of the main Russia’s exhibition area during the whole summer.
The 5th Annual Exhibition of Hybrid Art from all over the world will take place at Optika pavilion at VDNKh from July 24 to August 28.
