«Cheese Sommelier» is a small, but very nice shop with elite varieties of cheese. This cheese shop opened at Miusskaya Square near Russian State Humanitarian University.
This tiny room, about 10 square meters and two refrigerators, is like a cassette with treasures. Sbrints (€5.5), Gruyere (€3.8), Etive (€5.4), Lours (€4), Mimolet – a 15-months cheese (€8.2), aged cheddar (€3), Manchego (€6) and the ‘red witch’ – Die Rote Hexe (€5,8) and many othere beautiful cheeses are presented in the shop (all prices per 100 g). Except the cheese, the shop has mustard and different jams, cheese knives, cutting boards and other helpful cheese-things. The main charm of the place is the owner, a former programmer Alexander Krupetskii. He gives good advice to the combination of cheeses and drinks, tells their backstory and gives to taste cheese. Cheese here is sold, wrapped in craft paper with a funny picture.
The shop is located at Miusskaya Square 9, build.11.
