Ice cream with extraordinary tastes by Chef Anatoly Komm can now be bought In the Juice Bar on the ground floor of Central Department Store. One ball costs 70 rubles (€1.5). Now Juice Bar menu has four tastes: borsch, vinaigrette and Russian salad and ‘herring under a fur coat’ (Russian salad with herring, beet, eggs and potatoes). However, range of ice cream with traditional Russian flavors will become wider.
Anatoly Komm says that it is not ‘ice cream’ in the traditional sense and clarifies that it is correct to say ‘frozen homogenized product’. Chef notes that it is necessary to make a good soup firstly, then a good borscht transforms into ice cream. The product comes out very dietary, because most of the fats are removed during processing.
The unusual ice cream will also appear in the bar at the second floor of the department store.
