New modern navigation in Russian and English have begun to appear on the streets of Moscow, near major transportation nodes and in the capital’s subway.
The signs will display informational about attractions, ATMs, storage rooms and toilets. They will be equipped with detailed electronic maps, for easy navigation in the city.
240 interactive scoreboard will be installed on the city roads. 180 of them are already working in test mode. Now they only show the speed limit, but in the future, they should report about traffic and detour routes.
The program of installing new navigation is supposed to be completed by 2018, when Moscow will hold the FIFA World Cup.
