The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, one of the most loved and visited by the public, becomes even more open. In addition to “long Thursdays” it will work until nine o’clock on Fridays too, until April 25.
The Museum will present unusual excursions, theater performances, lectures, concerts, documentaries and much more. Famous Russian actors, poets, artists of the Bolshoi Theater and other cultural workers will participate in this project.
The program starts on January 24 in the main building with the exceptional exposition “Chaim Soutine – the master of the Paris School” and the performance “Prometheus Bound” by the students of Moscow Art Theater School. To complete the evening the documentary “Chaim Soutine ” directed by Valerie Firlej will be shown.
In addition visitors will be able to meet museum restorers, keepers and researchers and learn about the life and mysteries of the museum.
