Here comes the last summer weekend, August 29-30. And we have prepared our usual list of the most interesting events in Moscow on these days off.

The City Food Market, which has already become a familiar part of the Moscow landscape, will be held at a new place this time. On Saturday, it will be possible to regale delicious food right at the foot of the Empire Tower in the Moscow City. Ramen House, IMSIK, Chezve Coffee, Punschmeister, The Wok and other usual participants, as well as 30 beginners, will treat visitors with their dishes: fragrant pilaf, grilled meats, summer desserts, unusual combinations of products or something exotic.
Organizers plan many interesting entertainments in addition to food. There will be consultations, business programs, presentations of projects and many more.

FURRY RUN

This Sunday the Kuzminki Park will host a charity run to benefit homeless animals that live in Kozhukhovsky shelter. Even if you don’t have an opportunity to take a dog home, it is possible to help the shelter by participation in the race.
The route will make 5 km through a beautiful landscape of the Kuzminky Park. Participants will get free t-shirts with a specially designed logo from a cool running sponsor and smile emoticon prizes and excellent mood!,
All proceeds will go to help animals in Kozhukhovsky shelter, which houses about 3,000 dogs and 500 cats.
Registration fee is 535 rubles (€5.38).

LENOVO VIBE FEST

This year Lenovo Vibe Fest finally comes to Russia. The new festival held in the Muzeon Arts Park aims to help not very well-known artists to become very well known. In addition to the announced headliners – unfading Morcheeba and popular Russian group IOWA, Lenovo Vibe Fest will present several young groups — the winners of the online voting.
In total, there will be three different sites at the festival: technological, musical and extreme. It will be possible to find entertainment for any taste: scientific achievements exhibition, interactive installations, performances of BMX riders, skaters and skateboarders, cult video games and yoga classes.

INTERNATIONAL AVIATION AND SPACE SALON MAKS

One of the world’s largest aviation forums – International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS – will open its doors to visitors on August28-30. Here you will see presentations of experimental aircrafting, the latest models of planes, helicopters and weapons systems.
One of the main attractions of the salon is, of course, the demonstration flights by the world’s leading teams. This year, visitors will see aerobatic by Russian teams the Russian Knights, the Swifts, and guests from abroad – Patrouille de France, Frecce Tricolori and others.

COLORFUL SKY FESTIVAL

This last summer weekend, the banks of the Tsaritsyno ponds will host a large-scale festival Colorful Sky, which will gather fans of kites.
The organizers invite everyone to remember the wonderful moments of childhood and get a new dose of pleasant experiences. Visitors will be taught how to build and run their own kites or simply contemplate the improbable figures flying in the sky.
At the festival, everyone will be able to take part in the Rokkaku (traditional Japanese martial kites) fighting and stroll through the Garden of the Wind installation, enjoying plasticity and beauty of flowing multi-colored flags and ribbons. Besides, best Moscow’s pilots will show breathtaking performances on sports kites.
